Course Aim:
This program aims to train the next generation Public Health Assistants (Environmental Health Assistants) who will play a critical role in conducting a number of community based comprehensive programmes which include and are not limited to;- disease surveillance; health education and promotion; outbreak investigation, and control; premises inspection; food safety inspection; water and environmental sanitation management including waste management; environmental health formative and action research; and emergency health services.
Target Groups:
This course targets; -Applicants with UCE, and Professionals who have a minimum of O’level passes in the five subjects of English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
